Following the government’s announcement on the 2024/25 pay award, the NHS Terms and Conditions of Service Handbook has been updated. The government has endorsed a 5.5% consolidated pay increase for Agenda for Change staff, effective from April 1, 2024, as recommended by the NHS Pay Review Body (NHS PRB). The PRB also proposed adding intermediate pay points for Agenda for Change bands 8a through 9, pending approval from the NHS Staff Council. Updated pay scales and related resources are now available on the NHS Employers website. Salary increases, including back pay, will be processed in October’s payroll.
