We have previously used Walsons to assist with our international recruitment campaigns and had no hesitation in using them again more recently. On each occasion, they have put forward excellent candidates and backed this up with a seamless recruitment process including regular updates from the compliance team in India. I would have no hesitation in recommending Walsons.
- Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust / UKI am happy to recommend the Walsons Healthcare team who I have retained on the supply chain for The Priory Groups overseas candidates for predominantly Nurse and also HCA/Support Worker roles, initially as a 2nd tier in 2022, but moving up to a 1st Tier supply in 2023, with continued plans to progress our supply further into 2024.
This is a challenging recruitment area and I find that we work well with Walsons to overcome issues as they emerge. Walsons are able to present us with solutions and options we have not previously considered, and the experience of the different supply solutions they offer to different clients is evident in the quality and nature of their advice.
Most importantly, Walsons have demonstrated that they are a value-led organisation, with ethical recruitment practices and candidate care at the heart of what they do, how they work, and represented in the decisions we make together.
I am so happy to talk about Walsons Healthcare. They proved themselves with their expertise & professionalism to be a trustworthy partner in the Recruitment process. They have given us candidates according to our requirements. Therefore, I highly recommend Walsons Healthcare.
- Al Mouwasat / Middle EastOur partner, Walsons Healthcare, is very good at communication and coordination. We can always get a quick response and timely information from my contacts there. They strive to improve our collaboration by being proactive. It is very convenient to work with Walsons, and we intend to continue our association to support global healthcare placements.
- RecruitMed / GermanyFrom our first meeting, the team at Walsons Healthcarehas demonstrated exceptional professionalism and understanding. Recruitment is never easy, and life can always throw curveballs, but Walsons has seamlessly adapted to changing market conditions and unexpected situations throughout the recruitment process.
Moreover, Walsons has always ensured sufficient staffing for our projects, contributing to their success, and has taken proactive steps to enhance applicant performance through language training. With their prompt and transparent communication, I can wholeheartedly recommend Walsons Healthcare as a committed partner for international recruitment.
- Silk Road / FinlandWe have been using Walsons Healthcare since June 2019 and have been impressed with the quality of nurses put forward for the interview. The process has been seamless, from receiving candidate details to interviewing through the compliance team in India. We are regularly updated on the progress of candidates and any questions we may have are quickly addressed. Our first group arrived within 8 weeks from the interview, which was beyond our expectations. I would have no hesitation in recommending Walsons.
- Taunton / UKMany thanks to Walsons Healthcare team in getting the nurses to the UK so quickly. This is an absolute record for us! Keeping the fingers crossed for their OSCEs !
Wish you good luck in your future endeavours!
- Head of International Recruitment, NHS TrustWalsons Healthcare nurses are sent through for sponsorship at the point that they receive their NMC decision letter, which means there is no delay in booking and processing their OSCE exams, or any concerns around the NMC rejecting applications after the nurse has already arrived.
The candidates get extensive pastoral support (meeting & greeting of our cohorts at the airport, providing them the UK SIM-cards and then arranging follow-up meetings after a few months to help them source private accommodation) which helps ease the burden on our end.
They are very easy to work with and accommodates our requests to amend/alter any processes to suit us, where possible. Again this is different from other partners where they work to their own terms and processes, and expect us to accept ‘their way’ of doing things. It very much is a customer-client relationship with Walsons Healthcare.
- Taunton & Somerset NHS Foundation Trust
Walsons Healthcare’s ability to offer a regular supply of good quality candidates for Skype Interviews, that have passed IELTS in all cases (and CBT in about 50-70% of cases), makes the process from interview much shorter (average of 9 weeks from interview to start date).
We can give Walsons Healthcare a start date and they will then work extensively to ensure they complete the compliance process and deliver the agreed amount of nurses per month for that start date. (As an example, we have a consistent 10 nurses from March to July planned in, with this likely to continue through until our pipeline is all delivered). Other agencies instead will expect us to take nurses ‘on their terms’ and to their own expected start dates which can be difficult from a planning and coordination point of view (sourcing accommodation, L&D etc).
- Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation TrustWalsons nurses have passed their OSCE in first attempt having only 1-week intensive preparation course with us.
Credit to all of you at Walsons Healthcare, we’re really impressed and pleased with how the whole process is going. The quality of the nurses that you’re providing to us speaks for itself in terms of interview-to-offer rates, and now potentially OSCE-pass rates too.
